Transparent session fees
Each session dedicates a full hour to focusing on your journey and personal growth.
Clients usually participate in weekly or fortnightly sessions. However, this schedule is flexible
and can be tailored to fit your individual needs and preferences.
Remember, everyone progresses at their own pace; I regularly assess the counselling process
to ensure you are truly benefiting from the experience.
| Service | Duration | Fee |
|---|---|---|
| Individual Counselling Session | 1 hour | £35 to £70 (see below) |
Your fee covers the 1-hour session tailored specifically to your individual needs. For every hour spent with clients, I dedicate an hour or more to research, preparation, and reflective practice to guarantee that my practice is safe and effective.
You'll receive support from a qualified professional committed to the highest standards, achieved through regular supervision and continuous professional development (CPD).
I maintain a smaller practice to ensure I can provide my clients with the highest level of care, all while prioritising my own well-being and modelling self-care.
SLIDING SCALE: Choose your Fee
The standard fee for my service is £60 per session.
However,
I am committed to making quality therapy both accessible and sustainable for everyone.
To achieve this, I have implemented a sliding scale for fees based on individual financial circumstances.
This system operates on a self-select, trust basis, allowing you to choose a fee that aligns with your income.
By contributing more when you can, you help make it possible for me to provide the same level of therapy for those who might otherwise be unable to afford it.
Scale A
£70
Select this option if:
You have strong financial stability: low debt, secure housing, regular holidays/travel, and access to savings.
Scale B
£60
Select this option if:
You have a stable income covering your needs with potentially higher housing costs, regular car use, holidays, and the ability to buy new items monthly.
Scale C
£45
Select this option if:
Your needs are mostly met with some pressure. Manageable debt, some spare income or in receipt of Personal Independence Payments (PIP). Potentially working with UC top-up. Occasional purchases and short breaks are options for you.
Scale D
£35
Select this option if:
You struggle to meet basic needs - housing, food, etc: debt impacts daily life. Your sole income relies on income related benefits (not including PIP) and no work, or you are a student.
Note: The sliding scale for session fees will be evaluated and updated biannually in March & September to ensure it remains sustainable and effective.
