I am a professional, with a high standard of education and extensive training in my specialised areas of work. But I’m also a flawed human first. If you’re looking for a therapist who brings her authentic, imperfect self into the therapy space, in the hope that you’ll feel able to do the same, then perhaps you’ve found her. Together, as two beautifully flawed human beings, we can explore with curiosity and compassion whatever you choose to share."

I work online with individuals over the age of 16.

Did you know in the UK, the titles "counsellor" and "psychotherapist" are not legally protected? This means anyone can practice as a counsellor or psychotherapist without the necessity of formal qualifications.

When selecting a therapist, it's essential to verify their credentials. Always ensure they are qualified (minimum level 4), carry professional insurance, and are registered with a reputable ethical body, such as the NCPS or BACP.

The Professional Standards Authority (PSA) have a live public awareness campaign encouraging people to look for the Quality Mark to check that their practitioner is on an Accredited Register.  Their logo to the left is included in NCPS, BACP and other membership logos for your peace of mind.

Qualifications and CPD

I am qualified with a level 7 PG Dip in Advanced Counselling and Psychotherapy, ana a level 6 BSc Hons Degree in Counselling and Psychotherapy, as well as two diplomas in Youth Mentoring and Child Psychology.

I remain committed to maintaining my training with regular continuing professional development training relevant to my specialities.

    I am a registered Accredited Member of the ethical body National Counselling and Psychotherapy Society (NCPS) Registration Number: NCPS926.
