In the UK, there are several free crisis support services available 24/7 to help individuals in emotional distress or crisis situations:

Samaritans: Offers a free listening service for anyone in emotional distress. You can call them at 116 123 or email jo@samaritans.org. They are available 24/7, providing support for any issue, especially suicidal feelings.

Shout: A free text service providing 24/7 crisis support. Anyone in the UK can text 'Shout' to 85258 to receive confidential support from trained volunteers.

Childline: A counselling service for children and young people up to 19 years old. You can contact them at 0800 1111 or visit their website for webchat support.

HOPELINE247: Provides free and confidential support via phone, text, and email for anyone experiencing thoughts of suicide. You can reach them at 0800 068 4141.

Mind: Offers a range of mental health support services, including a directory of local crisis teams and helplines. Their website provides information on how to access these services.

The Mix: Provides support for under-25s on various issues, including mental health and relationships. You can text THEMIX to 85258 for immediate help
